another question, i see a section in my stats tab called “top promoters”. what’s the deal with that? i don’t get it.

roygbiv, Top promoters is a list of your fans that have tried to promote you by sending out your music in Tunepaks, or by driving people to their fan page to play your songs. These are the folks that are really helping you spread your music, so its good form to take care of them if they are getting you a lot of plays (good ideas might be free tix, merch, etc).

I have a question. I often see people who have maybe a couple hundred visits to thier site – but somehow how tens of thousands of plays of thier tracks. How is this? Are thier tracks played on the radio? Or is that from Widgets?

Any play of your bands song from the RN player, from widgets, from fan’s custom widgets, from any Facebook application we provide, etc. is counted towards plays.

Hi There Im having problems with Blogs, when I type my blog i get the error message, security captcha was not found, but it wont give me any option except to cancel, Its really important to me that I open up the blogs on my page, I been in Blog preferences and admin tools but i cannot find anything that will help me So Im hoping that you can help. Hi I’m new here and I’m wandering my site has over 22.ooo widget hits but only just over 500 visits and less than 500 plays. I thought every time you hit a widget it takes you to the site.

My stats just took a weird tumble today – down 239 places in the folk list and down 121 places in Band Equity – for no reason I can see… Any ideas?
