H.O.L. – Higher Order Language – Holworks is a joining of two friends, Tom Mohler and Mark Holman, who share the love of making our own music and have been since 1988. Now we have been joined by some more incredible musicians who listened to our first songs on Music Nation and decided to help us out. We did have poorly recorded drum machine rug song catepillars until these guys joined us in thestudio. Now, well you judge for yourself as they are quite different. Ricky Sparks joins us on lead guitar, Bob Durocher plays bass guitar, and either Dion Thigpen or Jeff Cooney join us on drums. Jeff plays in Blue Opal and Just When I Thought. Dion plays on Swift Water and Feel It Blow.

At this very minute, we are hoping that we can make you forget about everything else except this brief excursion into our experiences. It is more than enough for us just to have you listen. Music Nation has brought a lot of great musicians who care for one another together under one roof. An example of this caring comes from Brant Kindred for mixing Blue Opal and Just When I Thought out of those horrible MP3’s I sent to you which have since been transformed once again this time to reflect what these songs would sound like with a full band backing them instead of a portion of a band and a drum machine.

Thanks muchisimo to Andy Pow of Digital Waves Studios in Fayetteville, NC for mixing Just When I Thought, Blue Opal, Raise Your Arms, and the scratch guitar on Raise Your Arms.
