How To Promote Your Music On Tagworld
|
|
As an artist, you need to spread your music to every place on the web where your fans might spend time. Tagworld is one of those places. Here are some tips on how to reach fans that live at Tagworld. 1. Paste TunePak links in comments and on your profile page. This will give users the chance to bring up a stand-alone player pre-loaded with the music you have uploaded to ReverbNation. Users can rock out to your music while still surfing TagWorld. 2. Put a link to your ReverbNation page, as well as a TunePak link in the Band Website section. This will expose everyone to your music as well as drive traffic back to your ReverbNation page. 3. TagWorld comments support Flash and HTML, so you can comment on people’s pages and ask them to check out your music. Include the Mini-Player widget (The area supports both widgets, but the Mini Player is less intrusive to their page). You can also paste the FanCollector in comments as well, to politely ask users to join your Mailing List. Show Schedule widgets and banners are also supported. Please feel free to add to this thread if you have any other great ideas for tapping into Tagworld. Check back often for updates on the latest ways to reach your fans at Tagworld. How To Get A TunePak – To get a TunePak link of your music, visit your profile page and click the “Create TunePak” button on the “Songs” tab on your artist profile page. You may then rearrange the order of the songs if you would like. Select the “Get URL” option for the correct URL to copy and paste in any of these networks or anywhere else. How To Get A Widget – To get either of the Show Schedule widgets (Regular or Tour Map), either of the Player widgets (Regular or Mini), or the banner for your ReverbNation page, visit the “Widgets” tab on your profile page. Select the widget you would like by clicking it. You will be given a chance to customize the color of the widget. Once you have completed that, copy the HTML code listed. This is what you need to paste in the allowed areas of any Social Network or website. |
