what are the benefits of the new freewebs reverbnation widget? does it link to the artist page or should i keep the one i embedded into my site awhile ago?

i was wondering about the ‘share’ button on the widgets. i plan to sell ‘beats’ for non-exclusive and exclusive use at my website, and right now i have the widget to give a taste of the music. it’s troublesome enough trying to figure out how to securely sell and protect digital downloads via paypal/credit card, but if the share button on the player makes it easier for someone to take it , then i might need to stop using it. i just want people to go thru more steps if their going to ‘rip’ because i know nothing is truly safe. if i’m wrong, please tell me.
