Topic: Troubleshooting hello mr. admin the mp3 widged doesnt work anymore on my firefox browser. but its still working on IE !! - it tries to load the data 3 or 4 times and then it stops without playing. the strange thing is…it still works on the “get widged” site (mini_player_widget_popup) or on other internal reverbnation sites… but if i copy the site code of mini_player_widget_popup into a new html file and try to load it local than it doesnt work too :( the same if i copy just the embed code in any html site…it doesnt work on my firefox… i didnt touch anything on my browser…just deleted the cache for debug… please help me reverbnation rocks !!! i wish you the best but i hope that i havent to change my player because i very like reverbnation ! greetings |

Topic: Troubleshooting I have just talked with the developer for RPK and he is going to work on setting up the feature so that you see both the name and email address. Right now it isn’t possible for you to see that information. I am sorry. Hopefully we can that change in place before too long. Admin |

Topic: Troubleshooting fearofyours: Try updating your web browser (except for IE 8) or trying another web browser. Clear your cache and cookies. Update to the latest version of Flash. We are in a constant battle with the ever changing Myspace to get our widgets working properly on their site. It has been an issue from day one and things haven’t gotten any easier. I’m sorry the performance of the widget is spotty at best. I can assure you our widgets do work in Myspace, despite your personal experience to the contrary. Topic: Troubleshooting Hello Mr Admin, I am having troubles with my myspace, I tried to add my music player widget to the myspace, and the only thing that popped up throughout everything was a bar down at the bottom. Is there any fix for this that you could provide me with, if so thank you very much. |

Topic: Troubleshooting Hi Scorcheddog Sorry you are having trouble. I visited your profile and was able to play your songs. If you are clicking play, but not getting a popup player at all, then I would re-check your popup settings. You may also want to update to the newest version of your browser. We do require that a song play a certain percentage of the way through to count as a play, so it’s possible your brother turned the song off before that point. Topic: Troubleshooting Hey, I am a newby to reverb nation…my profile is reverbnation.com/scorcheddog I have a few questions 1) is there a problem with the players at the moment?, I have tried playing my songs…(yes I do know what they sound like) on ie7, firefox and safari and all of them suggest I have a popup blocker on…have allowed popups for RN. Asked my brother to see if there was a problems, he reckons he got it working but there is still zero plays listed on my profile. So 2) is the play counts working? Can someone check and see if it is working and get back to me. No, this isn’t some sort of mutant marketing ploy… is anyone else having similar problems, how can it be relieved…? |

Topic: Troubleshooting The last two messages that I received from ReverbNation don’t display properly. They leave a big blank space at the top. I must scroll down to even see my message list and then the actual message is underneath that. But if I click on any other previous message, everything moves back up top to the place where I’m used to seeing it…right beside the left menu. The first time this happened, I didn’t realize that it was displaying at all. I just saw this big blank space where my message list usually appears. Anyway, I thought someone would want to know. I don’t know if I’m the only one having this problem. But if I’m not the only one, this might be a weird bug that just showed up. Musically, Nancy |

Topic: Troubleshooting I want to delete some of my press quotes but when I click on the edit button nothing happens, if I try to open the link for the edit button on another tab or window I just get my homepage again. I use a Intel Mac with OSX 10.5.5 and usually use Firefox, but I have tried it with Safari as well. What can I do!? Thanks! AFMM |

Topic: Troubleshooting Hello all, I have a few issues with my label account and I wondered if anybody might be able to help. 1.I have made a tune widget and installed it on my myspace (www.myspace.com/ambiguousrecords) but the link back to RN is broken. It just says label_9328 did not match our records. 2.I have an RSS tour feed set up with Google Reader. The feed works fine but again the label link is broken. This time because of the lack of a space between Ambiguous and Records. 3.My artist blogs won’t show up in the tune widget. Google reader can’t understand the blog RSS feed (although it can the tour feed) Also is there a collective label feed for blog like the tour one? Many questions, sorry. Topic: Troubleshooting Hi, we do between 25-28 festivals a year, and I’m happy to see that many of the artists we see at these festivals are also using ReverbNation. I’m encountering a problem, however, when these artists posts shows on the same day that we’re performing – if we’ve already got a set time posted, and they post a different set time for their band, it changes our set time as well. Any comments they add are also showing up on our calendar. I can’t be sure of exactly how they are posting their shows, I can only speak for myself, but I enter our shows individually as a new posting – I don’t add us to an existing show. Topic: Troubleshooting Hi Nancy Moran, Infact, you can have two shows on the same day. Just go to Admin/Tools and select Add New Show to Schedule. It should add another show, instead of editing the show you’ve already entered. Hope that helps. |
